There is an annual subscription for all members – currently this is £51. This covers the basics e.g. admin, magazines and a substantial portion to support the National and local Federation.
To stage our meetings, and to invite speakers for those meetings, we have to raise money. We like to have a lively and entertaining programme, so everyone needs to help with this.
This is done several ways:
- Donations
- Staging events, like cake stalls, raffles, book sales etc.
We are always looking for ideas to raise money!

Ideas so far…….
Buy a small gift when on holiday or on a day out, and then in October to auction them or have a tombola…..
Make a patchwork quilt and maybe raffle it in the village…….
